World Cup scouting report: We like the look of... Bosnia-Herzegovina's Miralem Pjanic

t's difficult to give a man of the match award to a player on the losing side, but Miralem Pjanic was excellent in defeat against Argentina.
The Roma midfielder was the only Bosnian to complete more than 90 per cent of his passes and he created four chances for his team-mates, the most in his team.
Only Lionel Messi was able to match that amount of creativity.

Good company: Only Lionel Messi (on floor) was more creative during their opening World Cup match

Edin Dzeko scores the goals for Bosnia and Herzegovina but Pjanic generally makes them. The 24-year-old provides a creative spark from midfield and is excellent from set-pieces, too.
Pjanic made 27 appearances for Roma in Serie A last season - scoring three goals and providing six assists.
He has scored eight goals in 48 caps for his country, although many of them have come from memorable long-range efforts and free-kicks.
One to watch: Miralem Pjanic has scored eight goals in 48 appearances for Bosnia-Herzegovina
